Superintendents’ Council Meeting
The governing body of the SELPA is the Superintendents’ Council. The Superintendents’ Council is composed of the Superintendent of each Local Education Agency (LEA) within the SELPA.
SELPA Advisory Committee Meeting
Each participating LEA appoints an appropriate administrator of special education programs and/or a person who is knowledgeable in the area of special education finance to membership on the SELPA Advisory Committee.
Community Advisory Committee Meeting
Membership in the Community Advisory Committee is by appointment and action of the participating LEA board of education. Normally, parents, teachers, or community members interested in appointment to the committee contact their local director of special education. That director then forwards the individual’s name to the board of education for appointment.
