The West End SELPA WorkAbility 1 Program is funded and administered by the California Department of Education, Special Education Division. Our grant is renewed and funded annually based upon meeting the grant's requirements.

WorkAbility Middle School

As a subsidiary program of the WorkAbility 1 Program the WorkAbility Middle School Program is designed to empower students to create a personal vision and to prepare them to enter high school with a career awareness to make informed decisions and choices in reference to the world of work.

The WorkAbility middle school program assists referred students in understanding the connection between academic skills and their vocational future.

WorkAbility High School

WorkAbility is a transition support to school districts it serves and is committed to assisting referred students with employment preparation. When prepared we provide the student worker with valuable paid work experience through our partnership with local businesses and education community.
